TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Sam Kearns matched his career best with 21 points and Albert Owens added 16 as Oral Roberts dominated throughout to beat Fort Wayne 76-60 on Thursday night.

Kearns had 12 points in the first half as Oral Roberts (6-11, 2-0 Summit) took at 37-32 lead into the break and won the second period 39-28. Fort Wayne closed to 45-38 after a Bryson Scott layup at the 16:49 mark. Emmanuel Nzekwesi answered by hitting a jump shot that started a 15-3 run and the Golden Eagles coasted to the win.

Nzekwesi finished with 14 points, 14 rebounds and six assists. Javan White chipped in 13 points for ORU, which has won four of the last six games.

The ORU bench scored 23 points while Fort Wayne got five from its bench. The Eagles hit 31 of 66 (47 percent) from the floor while limiting the Mastodons to 23-of-68 shooting.

Scott had 20 points and John Konchar added 19 for Fort Wayne (11-7, 0-1).
