Right back Mathieu Debuchy has joined French club Saint-Etienne from Premier League Arsenal until the end of the season.
Debuchy is in the final six months of his contract with Arsenal.
The 32-year-old Frenchman joined Arsenal in 2014 but, following a bright start, made only 30 appearances for the London club.
Debuchy, who has 27 caps and two goals for France, also went on loan to Bordeaux during 2015-16 as he sought playing time.

Japan defender Yuto Nagatomo has joined Galatasaray on loan until the end of the season.
Nagatomo has made 210 appearances for Inter in six and a half seasons at the club but has started just nine Serie A matches this campaign.
The 31-year-old full-back has played more than 100 times for Japan.
Nagatomo moved to Italy in 2010, joining newly-promoted Cesena from FC Tokyo before signing for Inter the following year.
He helped Inter win the Italian Cup in 2011.

Attacking midfielder Lucas Moura has joined Tottenham from French champion Paris Saint-Germain.
The 25-year-old is Spurs’ first signing of the January transfer window and joins for a fee of 25 million pounds ($35 million) on a contract that runs until 2023.
Moura, who has made 35 appearances for Brazil, almost moved to the Premier League in 2012, but PSG beat Manchester United to his signature. His 40 million euro transfer fee from Sao Paolo was a record at the time for a player in the Brazilian league.
Moura said: “I will give my best for this club because I think we have a lot of quality and can win big things.”
After an inconsistent five years in the French capital, Moura was dropped by coach Unai Emery this season, playing just 76 minutes of Ligue 1 football for the runaway French leaders. Overall, he scored 46 goals and provided the same number of assists in 228 games.

Michy Batshuayi has joined Borussia Dortmund on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season.
The Belgium striker’s move completes a triangle of transfers that saw Arsenal sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Dortmund and sell Olivier Giroud to Chelsea earlier on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old Batshuayi, who is hoping to secure a place in Belgium’s World Cup squad, said: “In order to achieve my big objective, I want to play as much as possible and score many goals.”
Arsenal completed a club record signing of Aubameyang, while the German club lined up Batshuayi as a replacement, but Chelsea insisted on finding a replacement before allowing him to leave.
The deal went through shortly before the German transfer window deadline at 1700 GMT, once Giroud’s move to Chelsea had been completed.
Batshuayi scored 19 goals in 53 appearances during his 18 months at Chelsea, but has failed to hold down a regular starting place since joining from Marseille.

Olivier Giroud has joined Chelsea from Premier League rival Arsenal.
The 31-year-old France striker joined for a reported 18 million pounds ($25 million) on an 18-month contract and will wear the number 18 shirt.
“Chelsea is one of the biggest teams in the Premier League,” Giroud said. “They have won maybe the most trophies in the last six or seven years. It’s a massive club and I am proud to sign for Chelsea, and I’m looking forward to playing.”
Giroud’s move was a crucial part of a series of center forward transfers between Arsenal, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund.
Earlier on Wednesday, Arsenal completed the club record signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Dortmund.
With Giroud keen to stay in London and first-team opportunities more likely for him at Stamford Bridge, the only hurdle that remained was a fee being agreed between the clubs.
Giroud scored 105 goals in 252 appearances for Arsenal after joining from Montpellier in 2012.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has joined Arsenal from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.
Dortmund says the teams have agreed on a transfer fee of 63.75 million euros ($80 million) - a record for the Premier League club.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc says Aubameyang “has done great things for Dortmund … scored many important goals and is a part of the team that brought the German Cup to Dortmund in 2017.”
Aubameyang had been dropped as a disciplinary measure for missing a team meeting, the third time the Gabon striker had been sanctioned by Dortmund in a little over a year.
Aubameyang scored 141 goals in 213 appearances for Dortmund since joining from French club Saint-Etienne in 2013.
Arsenal says the deal is subject to the completion of “regulatory processes.”

Will Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leave Borussia Dortmund for Arsenal? Will Riyad Mahrez move to Manchester City?
It’s the final day of Europe’s transfer window and there are potentially some big deals to be finalized, especially in the Premier League, where clubs have already spent a record amount in January.
The most significant transfer could see Aubameyang join Arsenal for a reported 64.5 million euros ($80 million) in a move that would have a domino effect, with Dortmund needing a replacement and Arsenal looking to offload striker Oliver Giroud.
Man City broke its transfer record to sign Aymeric Laporte for $80 million on Tuesday and could surpass that a day later if the Premier League leaders succeed in bringing in Mahrez from Leicester.
No major signings are expected in Spain or France.
