Washington Wizards guard John Wall will undergo a knee procedure and miss the next six to eight weeks, according to multiple reports.
Wall flew to Cleveland on Monday to get a second opinion on his surgically repaired left knee. He previously had surgery in May 2016 on both knees and has dealt with soreness in his left knee since November.
Wall previously missed nine straight games earlier in the season and has missed 12 games total this season, most recently for Saturday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks. The Wizards are 6-6 in those games.
Wall was named an All-Star last week, but the procedure will cause him to miss the game.
The Washington Post was the first to report.
