GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - A 21-year-old Wyoming man has been sentenced to up to two years in prison for using his cellphone to capture video of young girls in a park bathroom in Gillette last May.

The Gillette News Record reports Gabriel Carlson pleaded guilty to voyeurism in October.

His attorney sought a probationary sentence Tuesday, but Deputy Campbell County Attorney Angela Dougherty said Carlson wasn’t deterred by a probationary sentence he received in April for similar actions at a swimming pool. She noted Carlson had also been ordered to stay away from all Campbell County School District property.

District Judge Thomas Rumpke said Carlson might have to seek mental health help after he finishes his prison term. He was credited for 236 days he spent in the Campbell County jail.
