JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Police say a man told officers he was sitting inside his Mississippi home when he was shot through the wall.
The Clarion-Ledger quotes Jackson police Sgt. Roderick Holmes as saying in a statement that the 44-year-old was shot in the forearm Wednesday morning. His injuries are not life-threatening.
The man told police he was sitting in his mobile home when a projectile came through the wall and struck him. He had run to a neighbor for help.
Holmes said there is no suspect information available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
