SNELLVILLE, Ga. (AP) - A meet-up for a Craigslist sale turned into a shootout in a Georgia county near Atlanta.

Police say a man who posted an ad on the Internet site to sell a phone instead became the victim of an armed robbery in Gwinnett County on New Year’s Eve.

WSB-TV reports Snellville police say Jaylen Holmes was arrested when he showed up at a hospital with gunshot wounds, after getting into a shootout with the man trying to sell the phone. Police say Holmes and Rayquan Smith, arrested as an alleged accomplice, pulled a gun on the seller and stole his phone.

Officials didn’t identify the seller, who works as a security guard. Police say the man isn’t facing any charges.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Holmes or Smith had an attorney.
