Hillary Clinton made a cameo performance at the 60th annual Grammy Awards — but it wasn’t to hand out any award.

No. Clinton was there — by video, actually — to read some excerpts from one of the most anti-President Donald Trump books of the time, Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.”

It was a part of a big Trump bash that included Cher, Cardi B, John Legend and Snoop Dogg.

“One reason why he liked to eat at McDonald’s,” Clinton read, “[is that] nobody knew he was coming and the food was safely pre-made.”

Funny.

Using a book that’s been widely contested, widely panned for inaccuracies, widely mocked for its own author’s admission that the contents may or may not be true — that’s always the way to score big laughs.

But it’s not the way to the last laugh.

That honor goes to Donald Trump Jr., who tweeted: “Getting to read a #fakenews book excerpt at the Grammys seems like a great consolation prize for losing the presidency.”

And then this, a few minutes later: “The more Hillary goes on television the more the American people realize how awesome it is to have @realDonaldTrump in office. #GrammyAwards2018.”

Nikki Haley, U.S ambassador to the United Nations, weighed in as well.

She tweeted: “I have always loved the Grammys but to have artists read the Fire and Fury book killed it. Don’t ruin great music with trash. Some of us love music without the politics thrown in it.”

Good point.

Leftists already have the media and Hollywood to bash Trump. Must they have the world of music as well?
