UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) - Cameron Young had 15 points, eight rebounds and a career-high eight assists and Andrew Robinson scored 14 points, including four 3-pointers, to help Quinnipiac beat Fairfield 75-70 on Saturday.

Abdulai Bundu had 12 points and 10 rebounds - his first double-double of the season - Isaiah Washington scored 11 points and Jacob Rigoni 10 for Quinnipiac (9-13, 6-4 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference).

Jonathan Kasibabu’s offensive rebound and 3-point play pulled Fairfield (7-13, 2-7) within six points with 58 seconds left and Jesus Cruz stole the inbound pass, was fouled and hit two free throws. Tyler Nelson stole another inbound pass and hit Cruz for a layup to make it 72-70 just three seconds later. Young hit 3 of 4 foul shots from there to seal it.

Cruz had 21 points and 10 rebounds, both career highs, for Fairfield. Kasibabu scored 16 points and Nelson added 13.

The Stags missed seven consecutive field goal attempts and committed five turnovers during a 14-0 first-half run that gave Quinnipiac the lead for good and Young’s layup with 5:52 remaining made it 62-51.

The Bobcats have won three in a row while Fairfield has lost seven of its last eight.
