DAVIS, Calif. (AP) - Chima Moneke scored 21 points and UC Davis used a big first-half surge to beat Cal Poly, 80-56 and extend the Aggies home winning streak to 19 games in a Big West Conference battle Saturday night.

The game was a rematch of last year’s Big West Conference quarterfinal, which UC Davis won en route to the championship. Cal Poly now has lost six straight.

The Aggies (14-7, 5-2), who have won six of their last eight, built a 46-22 advantage by intermission. UC Davis shot 53.6 percent from the field (30 of 56), including 10 of 18 from three-point range.

A.J. John was 3 of 4 from distance and finished with 11 points, and Siler Schneider was 2 for 2 from long range for another 11 points. Joe Mooney hit 3 of 6 from behind the arc to add 10 points.

Donovan Fields scored 13 points and Luke Meikle added another 10 for Cal Poly (6-15, 1-6).
