Oprah Winfrey is not planning a presidential run to take on Donald Trump.

“I’ve always felt very secure and confident with myself in knowing what I could do and what I could not. And so it’s not something that interests me. I don’t have the DNA for it,” Ms. Winfrey told InStyle Magazine Thursday.

She said that she was approached by someone who offered to help put her campaign together, but the television mogul said, “That’s just not for me.”

Ms. Winfrey made headlines at the Golden Globes earlier this month after giving a moving speech addressing the #MeToo movement against sexual harassment. Several people, including her best friend and CBS News anchor, Gayle King, and longtime partner Stedman Graham, said they’d be supportive of a possible run.

Ms. Winfrey said she’s spoken with Ms. King about the possibility saying that even her best friend acknowledged that a campaign “wouldn’t be good” for her.
