Adam Hicks, the former star of Disney’s “Zeke and Luther,” was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of committing a string of armed robberies in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles.

Mr. Hicks, 25, was arrested “in connection with a string of armed street robberies that occurred yesterday morning,” Sgt. Derek Green of the Burbank Police Department told The Hollywood Reporter.

Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ reported that Mr. Hicks and his girlfriend walked up to four or five people, including two elderly women, and held them at gunpoint demanding money.

The actor is being held on $350,000 bail and is due in court Friday.

Mr. Hicks starred as Luther in the Disney XD series “Zeke and Luther” and appeared in films such as “How to Eat Fried Worms” and “The Boy Next Door.” He most recently starred in Hulu’s zombie series “Freakish.”

Mr. Hicks has was arrested twice last year in Los Angeles, TMZ reported.

“In July, he was busted for firing a gun, and in September for a battery. The D.A. rejected both cases for insufficient evidence,” the website reported.
