Rep. Ron DeSantis said Friday that he agrees the memo about government surveillance regarding the Trump campaign should be released.

“Let’s get that out there so the American people can see how this whole collusion thing was going on during the campaign,” Mr. DeSantis, Florida Republican, said on Fox News.

He said he’s reviewed the memo and the House Intelligence Committee voted to release the information to all members. The few details that have been made public indicate the document could provide answers about the scandalous, and unverified, dossier about President Trump’s campaign, as well as possible abuses concerning FISA warrants issued under the Obama administration.

“They’re trying to affect the outcome of the election. There’s no doubt about that’s what they’re doing,” Mr. DeSantis said.

When asked if the American public should get to read the information Mr. DeSantis said, “I hope so.”
