WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) - Vasa Pusica made four 3-pointers and scored 20 points with nine assists and Northeastern shot 71 percent to defeat William & Mary 90-70 on Thursday night to create a three-way tie for first place in the Colonial Athletic Association.

The Huskies (12-7, 5-2) and the Tribe (12-6, 5-2) are tied with Hofstra.

Northeastern made 35 of 49 shots, including 12 of 19 from the arc (63 percent) while only making 8 of 13 free throws for 61.5 percent.

Bolden Brace added 13 points, Shawn Occeus 12 and Anthony Green 10 for the Huskies, who have won four of their last five.

Nathan Knight scored 15 points, Justin Pierce 14, Matt Milon 13 and Connor Burchfield 11 for William & Mary.

Pusica scored 11 points in a 23-6 run midway through the first half that put Northeastern up by 19 before the Tribe cut the margin to 47-34 at halftime. The Tribe, though, would never cut the lead to under 13 points in the second half.
