THIBODAUX, La. (AP) - Tevon Saddler scored 23 points as Nicholls dominated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 91-61 for its fourth straight Southland Conference win on Tuesday night.
Saddler shot 8 of 10 from the field, dished out five assists and had one steal. Jahvaughn Powell, Kevin Johnson and Lafayette Rutledge added 14 points apiece for Nicholls (12-8, 6-1), which has won six of the last seven games. Powell had five assists and four steals. Roddy Peters added 11 points with six assists.
Nicholls sprinted to a 23-9 advantage and took a 42-27 lead into the break. The Colonels maintained the double-digit lead throughout the second period and led 71-39 at the 9:21 mark.
Joseph Kilgore had 22 points and Kareem South added 11 for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4-12, 1-5), which has lost three straight conference games.
