SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A health technology firm in Sioux Falls has laid off employees.

DocuTap confirmed the Wednesday layoffs to the Argus Leader but wouldn’t say how many workers lost their jobs.

Company Vice President of Marketing Dusty Schroeder said the cuts were “strategic restructuring.”

DocuTap sold a majority stake of the business in 2016 to private equity firm Warburg Pincus. DocuTap acquired Atlanta-based Clockwise.MD in November. In December, it filled two open executive-level positions and said it had added about 70 employees.
