PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities are trying to determine what caused a fire on a pier at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia.

The fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. Friday and was declared under control in less than an hour.

There is no word of injuries.

The fire occurred hours before the funeral of a veteran Philadelphia firefighter who was fatally injured when a burning row home collapsed last weekend.
