Juanita Broaddrick wants Democrats who plan on wearing black to President Trump’s first State of the Union address to know that she’s ready to join them — “to represent all the victims of Bill and Hillary Clinton.”
Lawmakers with the Democratic Women’s Working Group who plan to adopt the black #MeToo and #TimesUp attire from last weekend’s Golden Globes awards may inadvertently bring attention to former President Bill Clinton on Jan. 30.
Ms. Broaddrick, 75, has claimed for decades that Mr. Clinton raped her in 1978 as he served as Arkansas attorney general.
“I’d be happy to go and wear black to represent all the victims of Bill and Hillary Clinton,” she tweeted Thursday.
The former president has always maintained his innocence.
“Some members will be bringing survivors of sexual assault and advocates as their guests,” an unidentified aide to Rep. Lois Frankel of Florida, who is a leader of the Democratic Women’s Working Group in the House, told NBC News on Wednesday.

Democrats who requested anonymity told the network that there are no plans of inviting Mr. Trump’s accusers to the State of the Union.
