Washington Redskins assistant strength and conditioning coach Deuce Gruden will be leaving to join his father, Jon Gruden, in Oakland, according to multiple reports.
Deuce Gruden joined the Redskins as a coaching intern in 2016 and was hired full-time for the 2017 season. The Redskins’ head coach, of course, is Jay Gruden, Deuce’s uncle and Jon’s brother.
On Sunday, the Raiders announced Jon Gruden was returning to Oakland after being out of coaching for almost a decade. Jon Gruden also previously served as the Raiders coach from 1998-2001.
Deuce Gruden was in attendance Tuesday for his father’s press conference.
As a side note, Deuce Gruden is a very large man:
