CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) - Christian Juzang scored a career-high 20 points and Harvard defeated Princeton 66-51 on Friday night for the Crimson’s fifth victory in their last six games.
Juzang made 6 of 10 from the floor and 7 of 8 from the line in bettering his career high by eight points. Seth Towns added 13 points for Harvard (11-11, 6-1 Ivy League).
Harvard finished the first half on a 23-3 run with Juzang scoring 13 points for a 35-20 lead as the Tigers shot just 26 percent before the break.
Princeton (11-11, 3-4) got as close as eight once, that coming midway through the second half.
Harvard scored 17 points off 15 Princeton turnovers, which included seven steals, and was more efficient in the paint, outscoring the Tigers 28-16 there despite having one less rebound than Princeton.
Richmond Aririquzoh was the high scorer for Princeton with nine points.
