FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) - Khalil Ahmad scored 22 points and Kyle Allman scored 14 and Cal State Fullerton controlled Cal Poly throughout for a 75-59 win on Thursday night.

The Titans raced to a 7-0 lead before Donovan Fields scored 10 points of 16-6 run for Cal Poly. Ahmad and Alman then teamed up for 17 points in a 19-1 run and the Titans led 37-22 at the break.

Cal Poly trailed 47-29 with 17:21 to go after Ahmad made a pair of free throws before Cal Poly’s 20-4 run reduced its deficit to 51-49 with 12:25 left. But the Mustangs went scoreless for almost five minutes, and a 9-0 run put the Titans in control.

Akim Robertson scored 13 and Jackson Rowe added 11 points with 10 rebounds and the Titans (13-9, 6-4 Big West) finished 27-of-53 shooting.

Victor Joseph scored 16 point, Donovan Fields, 15 and Aleks Abrams, 10 for Cal Poly (8-16, 3-7).
