LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Nevada inmate who was serving up to 10 years for robbery has died at the High Desert State Prison north of Las Vegas.

The Department of Corrections says 53-year-old Francisco Grace was found unresponsive in his cell and pronounced dead at about 3:15 a.m. Monday.

Grace was convicted of robbery in Clark County had had been at the prison since Dec. 28, 2012. He was serving a four to 10-year sentence.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine his official cause of death.

Prison officials say they’ve been unable to locate any of his next of kin.
