BALTIMORE (AP) - Police say a shooting at a Baltimore barbershop that left one dead and one injured may be linked to separate area shootings.

Baltimore police spokesman TJ Smith tells the Baltimore Sun that police “have reason to believe” the Monday night shooting at the His & Her Barbershop in Highlandtown is connected to two other shootings that happened around that same time. The other shootings left two injured.

Smith says the shooting was likely targeted, and that the two suspects who walked into the shop Monday night around 5 p.m. and started firing are at large.

He says one suspect fled on foot and the other left the scene in a car. He says he’s hopeful about identifying the suspects as the shooting happened during daylight hours.
