Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal scored 14 points in 17 minutes on the floor for Team LeBron, which defeated Team Stephen in the 2018 NBA All-Star Game Sunday night in Los Angeles.

Only captain LeBron James, who put up a game-high 29 points, scored more efficiently for his team. Beal scored 0.82 points per minute thanks in part to four 3-pointers.

Beal shot 5-for-10 from the field and 4-for-8 from deep. He also added a steal.

It was a nice outing for the Wizards guard in his first All-Star Game appearance. John Wall would have been his Team LeBron teammate, but shortly after the rosters were picked, it was announced Wall needed knee surgery and would miss several weeks of action.

Team LeBron won despite losing not only Wall to injury, but also DeMarcus Cousins and Kevin Love, leading some to speculate before the game James’ team was cursed.
