PLYMOUTH, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire ski area that closed eight years ago has opened a snow tubing park and promises to offer skiing soon.
The Concord Monitor reports that Tenny Mountain Ski Area in Plymouth opened for tubing Saturday, allowing visitors to ride the chairlift and slide down.
It says on its Facebook page that it will be open for tubing 7 days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a cost of $20 for two hours.
The ski area opened in 1960 but shut down in 2010 after years of financial problems. A non-skier bought the ski area four years ago with plans to reopen it.
