OPINION:
Omarosa Manigault-Newman, the woman who just made national headlines for her abrupt departure from the White House — and then again, for her 180-degree flip in support for her once-upon-a-time fawning for President Donald Trump — has made the news once again, this time, for a seedier, sexual matter.
Gotta say: Not surprised. Jesus to the rescue, right?
Here’s the backstory: Piers Morgan went on Fox News with Tucker Carlson and said this: Omarosa is “famous for being horrible” and is “one of the worst human beings I’ve ever encountered in my life.”
And oh yeah, she once suggested he and she have a “showmance” together during their joint appearance on Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” show because, he said she said, “everyone on the Apprentice has sex together so we could do that and then sell it and make loads of money.”
So what did Morgan say in reply?
He told Carlson he told Omarosa she was “completely deluded.”
Omarosa, apparently taking to the extreme the old adage about a woman being scorned, then accused him of being a homosexual, Morgan said.
“[She’s] ridiculously absurd,” Morgan added.
No. It’s beyond that.
Omarosa, bluntly put, could stand a bit more church and a bit less greed-fueled drama. Perhaps a national prayer chain is in order? Seriously, the woman needs Jesus, and not the kind that comes from self. The kind that comes from sound biblical teachings. Still, she only represents what our culturally rotted country has become — as our entertainment selections aptly demonstrate. And on that, we could all stand a bit more church, a bit more Jesus.
