KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) - James Scott and Nick Masterson scored 20 points apiece and Kennesaw State beat Jacksonville 78-54 on Saturday, for its third straight win.
Jordan Jones and Tyler Hooker added 12 points each for the Owls (9-17, 5-6 Atlantic Sun). Jones led the team with nine rebounds.
Kennesaw State shot 52 percent from the field compared to 33 percent for Jacksonville.
The Owls scored first and never trailed and Masterson drained three 3-pointers in the first half to help them build a 43-25 advantage at the break.
Jones scored 10 points as part of a 16-8 run to start the second half, pushing the Owls lead to 59-33 with 12:16 to play. Jacksonville went over seven minutes without a field goal midway and Kennesaw State cruised to the win.
Jace Hogan scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Dolphins (12-16, 6-5), who are on a three-game skid.
