PROVO, Utah (AP) - TJ Haws scored 26 points with seven assists, Yoeli Childs had 20 points and nine rebounds and BYU beat San Francisco 75-73 in overtime on Saturday.

Souley Boum scored San Francisco’s final 13 points of regulation, including two free throws with 39.3 seconds left for a six-point lead. But the Dons turned it over on an inbounds pass and Jahshire Hardnett completed a 3-point play at 13.4. Boum got behind the defense for a fast-break layup for a 65-62 lead, Elijah Bryant tied it on an open 3 from the wing and Frankie Ferrari’s contested runner at the buzzer was off the mark.

Boum turned it over on a baseline drive with 26 seconds left in overtime and Haws was fouled on a reach-in well beyond the arc with 4.3 to go, making two free throws, and Ferrari’s 3 was no good at the buzzer.

Bryant added 14 points and 11 rebounds with four steals for BYU (20-7, 9-5 West Coast Conference).

Boum scored 21 points for San Francisco (14-13, 6-8). Ferrari added 16 points with six assists.
