DAVIS, Calif. (AP) - Khalil Ahmad had 31 points and Kyle Allman added 21 and Cal State Fullerton made five free throws down the stretch to seal a 68-66 win over UC Davis on Saturday night.

Trailing 33-26 at the break, UC Davis took its first lead in the second half, 59-57, after six unanswered points by TJ Shorts II with 4:24 left.

Siler Schneider drained a trey for a 64-63 lead with 1:45 left. It was the last time the Aggies would see the lead as Allman and Ahmad made four straight free throws and Austen Awosika closed out the scoring with a final free throw.

Shorts missed a layup with :03 left.

Ahmad was 11 of 15 from the floor, hitting 4 of 7 from distance for CSU Fullerton (14-9, 7-4 Big West). Allman made 7 of 12 field-goal attempts.

Shorts finished with 21 points, making 9 of 10 free throws, for the Aggies (16-9, 7-4). Schneider added 15 points and Garrison Goode chipped in 14.
