ACTON, Maine (AP) - Authorities in Maine say they believe the victim of a fire that broke out in a building in Acton was a 28-year-old man.

The body was discovered early Sunday in the debris that remained after the Saturday night fire. The State Fire Marshal’s Office says it thinks it has determined the man’s identity. An autopsy still must be done.

The fire destroyed a garage and an apartment. The Portland Press Herald reports investigators say the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
