SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - The Utah Highway Patrol says two of its patrol vehicles were involved in collisions as winter weather produced slick conditions on highways Wednesday.

The Highway Patrol says neither crash involving its vehicles resulted in injury.

According to the Highway Patrol, at least one of the other vehicles was being driven too fast for conditions.

The Highway Patrol says that was also the case in an accident that snarled traffic during part of the morning commute when a big rig tipped over on Interstate 15 in Draper after colliding with a car going too fast for conditions.

That wreck initially blocked four southbound lanes, leaving only the HOV lane open for traffic to get by. No injuries were reported.
