Washington Redskins linebacker Reuben Foster will not appeal to the NFL to remove him from the Commissioner’s Exempt list, at least until his legal matter is resolved, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
The NFL placed Foster on the list after Washington claimed him off waivers from San Francisco. Foster cannot play, attend games or practice with the Redskins while on the list.
Foster was arrested on domestic violence charges on Nov. 24 in Tampa, Florida, his second such arrest of 2018.
The linebacker is unlikely to play the rest of the season as he law enforcement, the NFL and the Redskins conduct their investigations into the charges.
