BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) - Justin Edler-Davis sank 9 of 10 free throws and scored 15 points and Cal State Bakersfield ran its winning streak to four with a 74-61 victory over Cal Poly on Tuesday night.

Jarkel Joiner grabbed 11 rebounds while scoring nine points and James Suber pitched in with 11 points and nine boards for the Roadrunners (7-4). Justin McCall came off the bench to hit two 3-pointers and score 10.

Freshman reserve Junior Ballard scored a career-high 21 for the Mustangs (3-7). Ballard made 7 of 11 shots, including 4 of 8 from 3-point range, and added six rebounds. Mark Crowe pitched in with three 3-pointers and 14 points.

Suber scored all of his points and had seven rebounds in the first half to help CSU Bakersfield take a 39-23 lead at intermission. Cal Poly made just 5 of 21 first-half shots (24 percent), including 3 of 14 from distance (21 percent). Ballard’s 3-point play with 12:30 left in the game pulled the Mustangs within 49-43 but they would get no closer.
