Democratic Sen. Chris Coons said President Trump’s criticisms of his former lawyer Michael Cohen and special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe make him sound like a “mob boss.”
“His use of the term ’rat’ for Michael Cohen and mischaracterizing this as a break-in to his attorney’s office frankly makes him sound more like a mob boss than president of the United States,” Mr. Coons said on CNN’s “New Day” Monday morning.
The Delaware senator, a member of the Judiciary Committee, was referring to comments the president made over the weekend, in which he accused the FBI of breaking into Mr. Cohen’s home in April.
Remember, Michael Cohen only became a “Rat” after the FBI did something which was absolutely unthinkable & unheard of until the Witch Hunt was illegally started. They BROKE INTO AN ATTORNEY’S OFFICE! Why didn’t they break into the DNC to get the Server, or Crooked’s office?

Mr. Coons argued that insinuating that the FBI broke in, rather than acting on a legal warrant, undermined law enforcement and the justice system.
“The idea that the FBI broke into his attorney’s office runs right up against the foundation of our law, which is the FBI was executing a duly authorized warrant,” he said. “This is part of how investigations work.”
