SAN DIEGO (AP) - Olin Carter III had 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting, Isaiah Pineiro added 17 points and 10 rebounds, and San Diego beat Northern Colorado 85-65 on Saturday night.

Tyler Williams made 7 of 8 from the field and added 16 points for the Toreros (9-3). Alex Floresca scored 12 and Isaiah Wright had 10 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

San Diego took control with an 11-2 run to go into halftime with a 39-28 lead. The Bears cut the deficit to nine early in the second half four different times, but the Toreros pushed the lead to 17 before the midpoint of the half and extended to their largest lead at 79-53 on Carter’s 4-point play with 3:34 to go.

Jordan Davis came up two short of his career high with 30 points for the Bears (6-2). Jonah Radebaugh had 16 points and 12 rebounds.

San Diego made 33 of 58 (56.9 percent) from the field and 8 of 14 (57.1 percent) from 3-point range.
