EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) - Armon Fletcher missed just two shots on the night to total 24 points to go with nine rebounds as Southern Illinois rolled to its fifth win, an 82-61 victory over SIU-Edwardsville on Saturday afternoon.

Fletcher was a perfect 5 of 5 from long range to finish 8 of 10 from the floor and made 3 of 3 from the line to go over 1,000 career points. Eric McGill added 12 points with five assists and Sean Lloyd Jr. and Thik Bol contributed 11 points apiece for Southern Illinois (5-3) which has won three straight and five of its last six games. Aaron Cook chipped in 10 points.

Southern Illinois took control early and led 37-29 at the break. The Salukis pushed their advantage to 57-37 following a Bol layup with 12:57 remaining in the game. The Cougars could not cut into the lead after that.

David McFarland led the way for SIU-Edwardsville (1-5) with 24 points.
