President Trump’s campaign seized on the administration’s formal announcement of a proposed “Space Force,” asking supporters Thursday to vote on the logo that will appear on merchandise.

A campaign email asks supporters to vote on one of six proposed logos that will appear on Trump campaign paraphernalia.

“He wants YOU to have a say,” the email tells supporters.

They’re also encouraged to make a campaign donation.

VoteVets, a left-leaning veterans group that opposes many of the president’s policies, said that the Trump campaign was “already cashing in on Space Force, by selling fake gear.”

Five of the proposed logos include the phrase “Space Force,” while the sixth proclaims “Mars Awaits.”

Vice President Mike Pence gave a speech at the Pentagon Thursday formally announcing the Space Force as the sixth branch of the U.S. military. Mr. Trump celebrated the announcement, tweeting, “Space Force all the way!”
