Fox News anchor Abby Huntsman is reportedly leaving her post co-hosting “Fox & Friends Weekend” to join the all-female panel of ABC’s “The View.”

Ms. Huntsman, a former MSNBC host and daughter of former Utah Republican Gov. Jon Huntsman, is set to replace “The View” co-host Sara Haines, who recorded her final show last week in order to join Michael Strahan in the third hour of “Good Morning America,” Mediaite reported Thursday.

Fox News confirmed to Mediaite that Ms. Huntsman will anchor her last “Fox & Friends” this weekend.

Her addition to “The View” will likely provide more balance to the predominantly liberal panel that fellow conservative Meghan McCain was often forced to battle on her own.

Candace Cameron Bure, a former conservative voice on the show, told Fox News this week that she was holding out hope that Ms. Haines’ seat would be given to a conservative.
