- The Washington Times - Thursday, August 30, 2018

The Washington Redskins have won one and dropped two in the 2018 preseason, which feels like it began just the other day. But on Thursday, it wraps up with the exhibition to end all exhibitions: the Week 4, rest-everyone-you-can game.

Washington will take the short drive up the parkway to visit the Baltimore Ravens. Here’s how to watch Thursday’s game and some Redskins reading you should catch up on.

Opponent: Baltimore Ravens (4-0 in 2018 preseason)

Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore

When: Thursday, Aug. 30, 7:30 p.m.

Television: NBC and NBC Sports Washington

Radio: Team 980 (Redskins Radio Network)

What to watch for: Don’t be alarmed if you the Redskins send in a quarterback you’ve never heard of before. With Alex Smith scheduled to rest and Colt McCoy coping with a minor hand injury, Washington signed Connor Jessop, who likely will dress for the game and serve as an emergency option behind Kevin Hogan. Jay Gruden said the Redskins have a package of plays ready for Jessop … The results don’t count, but not only are the Ravens undefeated this preseason, they’re riding an improbable 12-game preseason winning streak. They went 4-0 each of the past two years and have not dropped a preseason contest since Sept. 3, 2015.
