Activist and entertainer Rosie O’Donnell is teaming up with a host of Broadway stars to protest President Trump at the White House.
Members of “Hamilton,” “Wicked,” “The Producers” and other musicals will soon descend on Pennsylvania Avenue in lyrical protest. The event, organized by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley of Sirius XM’s “On Broadway,” will be livestreamed on MoveOn’s Facebook page.
“On monday august 6 th - join me and broadways best singers as we join the kremlin annex protest,” she tweeted Wednesday.
Some of the protest songs include “The People’s Song” from “Les Miserables,” Burt Bacharach’s “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” “A Brand New Day” from “The Wiz,” the Associated Press reported.
Ms. O’Donnell’s recent anti-Trump activism included the sale of 5x7 prints of the president labeled “rapist” and “liar,” which were sold on Etsy.
“All money collected with be matched by me and donated to ANTI TRUMP CANDIDATES AND CAUSES we can do this America save ourselves from tyranny,” she wrote in February.

The entertainer also claimed in January that White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will ultimately “sit in hell” for working with the Trump administration.
