KOLOA, Hawaii (AP) - The Latest on flooding on the island of Kauai (all times local):

Parts of Kauai’s north shore are cut off because heavy rains have closed roads.
The National Weather Service says leftover moisture from Tropical Depression Lane is bringing rain to Kauai Tuesday.
The service recorded nearly 18 inches (46 centimeters) in one part of Kauai during a 24-hour period ending Tuesday afternoon.
Meteorologist Matt Foster says drier air later Tuesday into Wednesday will bring some relief.
Mayor Bernard Carvalho says north shore roads can reopen if rains ease on Wednesday.
The north shore is still recovering from destructive flooding in April.
Heavy rains also hit the south side of the island.
Carvahlo says Koloa residents who evacuated as a precaution because of rising stream levels may return to their homes. He says two shelters that opened for them are now closed because waters have subsided.
