BOULDER CITY, Nev. (AP) - The Nevada Highway Patrol says two people were killed and three injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Interstate 11 in Boulder City early Tuesday morning.
The Highway Patrol says those killed were two of three people in a broken-down sedan that was parked on the side of the freeway when a car slammed into its rear.
The third person in the sedan and a man and a child in the second car were injured. All were reported in stable condition.
According to the Highway Patrol, speed and impairment by alcohol contributed to the crash.
