NEW YORK (AP) - A Carnival cruise ship smacked into a dock on the west side of Manhattan, causing minor damage but no injuries.
It happened as the ship was arriving at Pier 90 on the Hudson River at West 50th Street just before 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The Coast Guard says the Carnival Horizon ship sustained minor structural damage to its bow, but was declared safe to depart. Fire officials say the collision also damaged two support beams on the pier.
