HANSON, Mass. (AP) - A pilot has escaped injury after a small plane rolled over at an airport in Hanson.

The manager of Cranland Airport, Peter Oakland, told WCVB-TV that the pilot was able to get out of the plane on his own Monday after overshooting the runway. No one else was aboard.

The accident is under investigation.

On Friday, 34-year-old Scott Landis was killed and his 29-year-old brother, Patrick Landis, was severely injured when a small plane crashed near the same airport.

Relatives said the brothers had taken off from the airport with the intention of scattering their father’s ashes over the family home.
