LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Trump economy soaring

OPINION:

The greatest story of 2018 is the President Trump economic boom. The boom is making the American military strong again and it is effectively leading in the world. The boom also makes it possible to establish a new military space service branch, which will make America dominant in space and the leader in space technology and the development of new weapons.

After the slowest eight-year recovery from the Democratic-Congress-created real-estate and stock-market crash, in the past quarter Mr. Trump’s boom reached 4.1 GDP, unemployment among Hispanics and blacks dropped to their lowest levels ever and 3.7 million new jobs were created. Mr. Trump signed the greatest military-rebuilding budget, for $716 billion for next fiscal year. Retail sales are robust, profits are soaring and the American dollar is strong. Early pessimistic, anti-Trump estimates — and Congressional Budget Office estimates — all have been proven wrong.
