PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of the man struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Massachusetts.
A spokesman for Amtrak on Sunday said 43-year-old Raheem Johnson, was struck just after 6 p.m. Friday in Pittsfield.
The spokesman says the Pittsfield resident was trespassing on the tracks and it appears he had headphones on at the time. Authorities say headphones were found at the scene.
He was struck by a Chicago-to-Boston train. There were 128 passengers and crew on board and no injuries were reported.
The death remains under investigation.
