OPINION:
This is how crazy the left has become.
Chloe Wright, a 25-year-old Massachusetts woman, was driving in Hyannis when she came across a vehicle displaying a pro-President Donald Trump bumper sticker.
Wright then became so incensed at the sticker, she plowed her vehicle into it, according to local media and police reports.
That’s right; she drove her car into the vehicle that sported the pro-Trump sticker. And then she allegedly fled, police said.
As Fox News wrote: “The man she hit reportedly contacted the Barnstable Police Department and recalled hearing a motorist behind him honking their car horn as he waited at a red light. According to the police report, the honking continued and by the time he reached another red light, the motorist started shouting at him.”
The guy got out, thinking the other motorist was honking in order to alert him to something wrong with his vehicle — some smoke, say, or a flat tire. And then came the madness.
The woman apparently started shouting, “You voted for Trump?”
“I said yes,” the man told police. “She called me a racist and several other names.”
It was at that point the woman smashed her car into his, and fled the scene, the Cape Cod Times reported.
“She bent my door and I had to lean back to avoid getting hit,” he said.
The guy’s girlfriend, who was in the car at the time, confirmed his side of the story. A warrant for assault with a dangerous weapon was issued for Wright, and she was finally arrested — a month later.
The anti-Trump crazy continues. Can’t the left just take out its angst with this president at the voting polls? Liberals, take a memo: Smashing into pro-Trumpers’ cars, bad; voting, good.
Seems simple. But sadly, in these antifa-Black-Lives-Matter-Resistance-Movement-Impeach-Trump times, it’s a lesson the left apparently just can’t get.
