WESTMINSTER, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police are searching for a man who may have witnessed an incident in which another man shot himself in the neck in Westminster
Two state police troopers were present and witnessed the incident when the 20-year-old man shot himself. The man is in critical, but stable condition at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Police were called to the Kimball Hill Road North late Thursday evening. Troopers were speaking with people outside the home when they heard two gunshots.
The troopers then went inside and saw the man shoot himself.
Police are now searching for 26-year-old Jesse Morey, who investigators believe may be able to shed light on the shooting.
