Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman released a third audio recording on Tuesday of former Trump campaign staffers discussing President Trump using the n-word.
In the recording from October 2016, Lynne Patton former assistant to Eric Trump; Trump campaign spokesperson Katrina Pierson and communications director Jason Miller speak with Ms. Manigault Newman about the tape.
Before airing the new audio, provided by Ms. Manigault Newman, CBS News said it seemed to confirm her claim but the recording was still unverified.
Ms. Patton said she asked Mr. Trump if he could remember using the racial slur, but he denied it.
“Well, that is not true,” Ms. Manigault Newman said.
“He goes, how do you think I should handle it and I told him exactly what you just said, Omarosa, which is well, it depends on what scenario you are talking about,” Ms. Patton continued, “And he said, well, why don’t you just go ahead and put it to bed.”
Ms. Pierson said, “No he said it. He is embarrassed by it.”
President Trump says @Omarosa lied when she called him a racist who has said the N-word on tape. But a new recording, obtained by CBS News, seems to back up her story that several Trump advisers discussed an alleged tape during the 2016 campaign https://t.co/bmyNaILEPQ pic.twitter.com/uvBZJLRywk

None of the staffers on the tape have supported Ms. Manigault Newman’s claims.
Mr. Trump has repeatedly denied the accusations. He tweeted late Monday night that “The Apprentice” producer Mark Burnett called him and confirmed there were no tapes with him using the n-word.
.@MarkBurnettTV called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a terrible and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa. I don’t have that word in my vocabulary, and never have. She made it up. Look at her MANY recent quotes saying….
