LAS VEGAS (AP) - Former Vice President Joe Biden is endorsing Democrat Aaron Ford in the Nevada attorney general’s race.
Ford’s campaign announced the endorsement Tuesday.
Biden says Ford’s escape from a childhood in poverty shows he knows that it means to struggle and overcome the odds.
Ford is currently serving as the Nevada Senate’s majority leader.
He’s running against Republican former assistant state attorney general Wes Duncan.
Biden has also endorsed Assemblyman Nelson Araujo for secretary of state, former Rep. Steven Horsford in Nevada’s 4th Congressional District, Democratic Rep. Jacky Rosen in the U.S. Senate race and philanthropist Susie Lee in Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District.
