Vimeo is the latest in a wave of social media pushback to eject Alex Jones from its video-sharing platform Sunday night.
Mr. Jones’ Infowars page was completely scrubbed from the site.
A Vimeo spokesperson confirmed the news to Business Insider Sunday night.
The spokesperson said Infowars was found to violate the platform’s policy on discriminatory and hateful content, and was issued a refund.
“We do not want to profit from content of this nature in any way,” the Vimeo representative said.
According to the Business Insider report, Infowars uploaded over 50 new videos to its otherwise unpopulated page after being kicked off other streaming sites.
YouTube, Facebook, Apple and Spotify all removed Mr. Jones’ content and accounts from their platforms on Aug. 6.
He remains active on Twitter. CEO Jack Dorsey said Mr. Jones has not violated the rules of the site. However, some of Mr. Jones’ recent tweets have been removed.
